Apprenticeship Readiness Workshop 

Detroit at Work, in partnership with DTE Energy and Henry Ford College, are providing information sessions on Overhead Line Worker and Underground Cable Splicer apprenticeship training.

To participate participants should have:

Required qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent
•    Commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred or to be eligible to receive a CDL
•    Complete a Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) assessment prior to start of Apprenticeship Readiness Workshop

Desired experience in one of the following:
•    Military
•    Electrical background
•    Apprentice Lineman Schooling
•    ALBAT*
•    Line Clearance Tree Trim
•    Construction
•    Utility Experience (gas, electric, internet, cable)
