Position Summary: The 38-bed Observation Unit is an outpatient unit specializing in a wide range of conditions, including chest pain, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertensive heart disease and chronic kidney disease. This fast-paced environment has telemetry monitoring and houses patients who are typically on the unit less than 24 hours. Nursing assistants are given the opportunity to help support and care for patients of various ages and backgrounds.
