Dakkota Integrated Systems has announced that it will build a new $55MM, 600,000 square foot assembly plant on Detroit’s east side on a 32-acre site of the former Kettering, Rose School. Hiring for the estimated 625 jobs at this new site will prioritize Detroiters by interviewing from the list of city residents who have completed a Detroit at Work Job Readiness Event. Dakkota Systems Job Requirements
- You must LIVE in Detroit
- 18 years of age
- Have Reliable Transportation
- Eligible to work in the US (verified through Federal I-9 process)
- Successfully complete Dakkota’s interview process
- Pass a drug screen and physical
Dakkota has agreed to ban the box on applications.
When and How to Apply
Detroiters interested in applying for positions with Dakkota Integrated Systems will be required to register with Detroit at Work, and attend and complete a Job Readiness Event in the same way as FCA applicants. Once completed, Detroit residents on the list will be notified by email when the application link is open from Dakkota Integrated Systems.
