JumpStart Answers
Jumpstart is an adult basic education, workforce training, and supportive services strategy for those who have been out of work/training for 6 months or more. It includes a job-readiness and skills check up, work readiness and job training, financial literacy coaching, employment, and 1:1 support by a community mentor. Over 18-months, enrollees who meet program requirements will receive monthly stipends to help pay for common barriers to workforce participation such as childcare, housing, and transportation costs.
