Certificate Programs
- In addition to the traditional community college associate degree programs, the Detroit Promise is now partnering with select community colleges to offer shorter-term skilled certification tracks. These programs vary in length but are generally between 6-12 months. Upon successful completion of these programs, candidates can often enter directly into skilled employment. Students must verify with the community college that the programs they are interested in are “Pell-Eligible” to ensure that Detroit Promise will cover all tuition and fees not covered by other sources.
