We offer a training academy for aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to start and/or grow their own business. Consider this as a launching pad, as our goal is to help create an era of generational wealth for Detroiters.
Applications are now open for the next class of the Detroit at Work Entrepreneurship Training Academy! If you are a Detroit resident interested in starting an education and childcare business, or a professional services and contractors business, but don’t know where to start, these classes are for you.
In this 2-week, online class you will work with expert instructors from Wayne County Community College District to learn everything you need to know about starting, growing and operating your own business.

This course 100% virtual and is free to eligible Detroit residents. Students are selected through a competitive application process.
