Food Assistance Employment & Training (FAE&T)

 

Are you currently receiving food assistance? If so, you may qualify for additional benefits to enhance your employment skills and help you find a better job!
The Food Assistance Employment and Training (FAE&T) program offers various personalized services to assist Detroit residents in gaining skills and finding employment that leads to self-sufficiency. If you are receiving Food Assistance Program (FAP) benefits, are between the ages of 18 and 59, do not receive cash benefits from MDHHS, and are ready to work, you may be eligible for these services.

•    Resume building
•    Education & training assistance
•    Literacy classes
•    Support services (such as clothing, tools, and transportation assistance)
•    Community resources and more!
